How to Claim for insurance
If the gas cylinder gets an accident, first of all, you have to lodge an FIR with the local police. After that, its gas distributor will have to give information along with a copy of the FIR. The distributor passes the report to the oil company. A team of insurance companies will come on behalf of the oil company for investigation, and the same team will decide the amount of claim. The claim amount will be paid to the oil company. The oil company will send it to its distributor, who will later hand over the customer or his family.
