SBI General Insurance launched Arogya Sanjeevani Policy: Know here essential points of this policy

SBI General Insurance has also launched Arogya Sanjivani Health Insurance because of coronavirus infection. This insurance scheme is very economical, and the launch by SBI General Insurance will also enable the people of rural India to take advantage of it. 50% of the people in India also do not have health insurance. Because of this, the regulatory Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI) of the insurance sector had drawn a blueprint for the standard health cover policy, Arogya Sanjivani. All insurance companies are mandated to include Arogya Sanjivani in their health insurance product. It has been launched from April one this year. Under this, all insurance companies will have to give minimum coverage of Rs. 1 lakh, and maximum coverage will be Rs. 5 lakhs.

This policy will be available on both individual and family floater basis. People from 18 to 65 years will be eligible to take this insurance. The treatment of corona has also been included in its cover. So that those who take this policy do not have to take a separate corona cover. This policy is important because of the recent coronavirus crisis.
