Do you know that you can withdraw money from the ATM machine without debit or credit card? Yes. It is true. Customers can also withdraw money from atm machines without an ATM card. At the same time, customers will have to hand over ATMs very rarely in the process. Physical distance and sanitization are very important in this era of coronavirus. In the absence of adequate sanitization and awareness, there is also a risk of infection spreading through ATM machines. Cardless withdrawals from ATMs can prove to be very beneficial for customers.
Some selected banks in the country have facilitated cardless withdrawals from ATMs to their customers. However, this feature has a fixed range of daily transactions. The range of this limit is between 10,000 to 20,000 based on banks. Let’s know which banks are giving this facility to the customers and how it can be exploited.
State Bank of India (SBI):
Step 1. First, the customer will have to download the SBI internet banking app YONO and click on YONO Cash.
Step 2. Now, the amount that has to be cleared by the account number will have to be removed.
Step 3. Now the customer will get an SMS, which will also have YONO cash transaction number and YONO cash PIN.
Step 4. Now the customer will have to go to SBI ATM and choose YONO Cash on the ATM screen.
Step 5. Now the Yono cash transaction number will have to be the amount of withdrawal.
Step 6. Now you have to enter the Yono cash pin. After verification, the customer will get cash from the ATM.
ICICI Bank:
Step 1. The customer will first have to download ICICI Bank’s mobile app.
Step 2. Now the services have to go and click on ‘cardless cash withdrawal.’
Step 3. Now the customer will have to enter the amount and pin. Now the account from which to withdraw has to be selected.
Step 4. You have to click on submit to confirm the details.
Step 5. Now the customer will get a message with a six-digit code, which will be valid for six hours.
Step 6. Now the customer will have to go to ICICI Bank ATM and enter the registered mobile number, four-digit temporary code, six-digit code, and withdrawal amount.
Step 7. After verification, the customer will get cash from the ATM.
Bank of Baroda (BOB):
BOB’s customers will have to click on Cash on mobile by opening the bank of Baroda’s mobile app to make cardless withdrawals from ATMs. Now the amount (up to Rs. 5,000) and MPIN have to be registered. Now the customer will get a six-digit code on mobile. The validity of this code will be only 15 minutes. The customer will have to go to the BOB ATM and click on the Cash on mobile option. Now the OTP has to be entered, and the amount of withdrawal has to be recorded. The customer will then get cash from the ATM.
Axis Bank:
The customer will have to start an instant money transfer (IMT) service to make cardless withdrawals from Axis Bank ATMs. Now go to the bank’s ATM, and the customer will have to click on ‘Withdraw IMT’ by selecting the IMT option. The customer will then have to enter some information such as mobile number, sanders code, SMS code, and IMT amount. The customer will then get cash from the machine.
