Transferring your PF balance is necessary if you have also changed jobs or companies. Unfortunately, people frequently neglect to transfer their PF balance when they switch positions between companies.
Well, do not worry about it. You can still transfer your PF balance from the prior firm to the PF account of your current company, even if you have moved 1, 2, 3, or even 4 companies. So let’s understand its entire process.
Mandatory Documents for PF Transfer
The old EPF balance cannot be transferred to the new account unless you have an active UAN number and password. Additionally, you must update your UAN number with all relevant information, including your bank account details, phone number, and Aadhaar number.
How to check your PF accounts balance?

- Log in after providing your UAN number, password, and captcha.
- You will see the home page after you log in. Go to the Members Profile page here. Verify all of your personal information here.
- Your name, Aadhar information, and PAN card need to be confirmed. Additionally, the correct filling of the email address, mobile number, and bank account information are required.
- Additionally, check your passbook before transferring PF. You must first navigate to View to find the Passbook option there.
- You must log in again once you’ve clicked on passbook.
- A full list will appear when you click the select member id after logging in. All the organizations where you have worked will be able to see your member IDs. The ID for your current firm is at the bottom. By clicking view passbook, you may check the PF balance for each of your firms here.
How to transfer the old EPF to the new one?

- You must next enter your UAN information; as soon as you do, all of your past employers’ PF IDs will appear. Finally, choose the person whose funds you wish to transfer.
- After that, OTP authentication is required. Select GET OTP.
- Here, you will see it. In addition, you can view the transfer claim status here. THE CLAIM HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SUBMITTED.
