Beware! SBI customers, or else you will lose your all money from account

Amidst the coronavirus crisis, people are locked in their homes, but they are adopting new methods every day to clear hands-on the hard-earned money of cybercriminals and fraudsters. The State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest bank, has recently alerted its customers about such a fraud. SBI has said in a tweet that frauds are taking new modalities for cybercrime. In a tweet, the bank has cautioned that fraud people are sending such messages to customers asking them to update passwords or account information.

There is also a link. According to the bank, you go to the page that looks like the net banking of the bank as soon as you open this link. People feel that they have opened the right page and forget to log in with the ID and password of their net banking. Those who commit fraud take advantage of this and blow up the hard-earned money deposited in people's accounts.

SBI has said that if someone has received such an SMS, he should immediately delete it. The bank has cautioned its customers not to click on the link and share your login ID and password or any kind of confidential information. The bank has said that if such a thing comes to their notice, immediately report it to both the email ID epg.cms@sbi.co.in and phishing@sbi.co.in. The bank has also suggested to inform the people about such messages as cybercrime branch of the government.

The bank has said that SBI customers should not pay attention to messages that are asking them to update passwords and account-related information on this website. Earlier, the bank had cautioned people about fraud for avoiding EMI. The bank had said that there is no need for any card related information or OTP to avoid payment of EMIs.
