"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has endorsed the reappointment of Shri Shaktikanta Das… as a lead representative, Reserve Bank of India, for a time of three years past December 10, 2021, or until additional orders, whichever is prior," the assertion said. The ACC is going by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Shaktikanta Das was designated as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor in December 2018. Das, an IAS official of the Tamil Nadu unit, will have a residency of three years, as indicated by a choice taken by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). He resigned as Economic Affairs secretary last year and was accordingly made an individual from the fifteenth Finance Commission.
